Curriculum vitae
Primož Rožman is the Head of the Immunohaematology Dept. of the national Blood Transfusion Centre of Slovenia, Ljubljana and Associate Professor at the Medical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Chair for Internal Medicine (Transfusion medicine). Besides, he is an appointed lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, and at the University College of Health Care, both part of University of Ljubljana. He has (co)-authored around 180 publications during the period 1991-2008 (link to the full bibliography is provided below).
Research
Head of the research group at the Ministry of Research and Technology,
Republic of Slovenia: his current research is related to the molecular
diagnostics of blood group and platelet alloantigens, their role in
transfusion and transplantation, transplantation of bone marrow,
isolation and characterisation of the embryonic and haematopoietic stem
cells and their clinical application. His research group “Transfusion
Medicine” consists of 20 members. The current projects are available at
