Take part in our Chlamy iGEM Team

Our Chlamy team will support a dedicated group of students taking part at iGEM. iGEM is a synthetic biology student competition. They envision to generate microplastic degrading Chlamy cells. For more info and support contact www.igem.hu-berlin.de and igem@chlamy.de.

Looking forward to meeting you at Chlamy2018

Our Chlamy team will attend the 18th Chlamy conference in Washington, D.C. Looking forward to many exciting discussions and inspiring talks and posters!

The aim of my PhD project is the development of tools and protocols to manipulate the nuclear genome of the unicellular green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. My main interest is the establishment of the CRISPR/Cas9 system in Chlamydomonas and the study of the underlying DNA repair mechanisms.
