Outreach activities

Art meets Neuroscience. Together with the BCCN and Einstein Center, the SFB supported activities of Edge Neuroscience-Art. Edge in 2019 - a recently registered Verein - is composed of international artist-scientists in Berlin, exploring intersections between art and neuroscience and promoting dialogue with the public (Project A05's PhD Ian Stewart, is our contact). To learn more about becoming a member, please visit Edge Neuroscience-Art.

Soapbox Science. In and around Berlin, female scientists are sharing their scientific work with the public, through the soapbox science initiative. Together with founding funder the Leibniz Institute (IGB), as well as Neurocure and the Einstein Center among others, the SFB invites its members to apply for calls to join these events on an annual basis (see previous events). Please feel free to contact the SFB Office for further information. See also the poster.

Mentoring. The SFB1315 also offers interested students from schools throughout Berlin, the chance to gain insights into research in neuroscience. See also our SFB mentoring program in collaboration with Club Lise - poster. SFB members and associates should contact Frau Brinati to learn about becoming a mentor.
