Research fellow (m/f/d) – for a limited period of 3 years according to Berlin state rules with the possibility of extending - E 13 TV-L HU
Job description:
- Scientific services in research and teaching in the field of molecular parasitology
- Studies on parasite-host interactions in protozoa or helminths
- Establishment of an independent research area
- Successful aquisition of own third-party funds
- Supervision of doctoral students, MSc and BSc students
- Teaching (German or English) 4 hours/week during teaching terms
- Tasks for own scientific qualification
Requirements:
- Completed university degree and PhD in Life Sciences (biochemistry, molecular biology or similar)
- Previous experience in experimental genetics, biochemistry, cell biology or molecular biology
- In-depth methodological knowledge in the field of molecular cell biology or molecular and cellular immunology
- Handling of laboratory animals
- Very good written and spoken English
